related products issue

  • Hi, I’m having some trouble with the related items listings. I saw a video on youtube showing how to choose which product to be related to another but as I followed the instructions it seems that my menu is different.

    So according to the video the option to edit this was in Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce. But in my menu Woocommerce doesn’t show, it’s simply not there despite it being installed. Am I missing something?

    Or is there another way of customizing related products?

  • This could be caused by a few things.

    Is your woocommerce plugin up to date?
    Was the video about an extension the you can install for woocommerce?

    thank for your quick reply, yes indeed we do not have the latest version of woocommerce installed – current version 2.5.3 – (the latest version is also very recent). We didn’t update because the theme we are currently using “Capri” they are still working on an update. And we were afraid that some functionalities could stop working.

    Do you believe something would change if we decide to update it, even with the theme not fully up to date?
