Saving sidebar removes roles of new menu item

  • Random issue here. Just the past few days I lost the side menu link for a plugin – Wp All Export – and when I try to add it back in using the sidebar editor in your plugin, it removes the Roles that are highlighted (they all go blank), therefore not allowing the role i’m editing (editor) to use the menu link.

    I’ve also noticed that it is giving the wrong link as well when I can click on it “wp-admin/pmxe-admin-export” instead of the right one – “wp-admin/admin.php?page=pmxe-admin-export”

    Any ideas why this would suddenly change??
    Its very weird since I didn’t update any plugins myself recently and it was working before…

    Thank you for your feedback.
    But I’m sorry, I don’t know why removes the roles(capabilities).

    But,

    I’ve also noticed that it is giving the wrong link as well

    this problem is maybe change the menu with “not parent menu”.
    e.g.) You have change to the New Export of “General” menu from the “All Export” menu of WP All Export.
    In that case, please move the menu to original parent menu.

    For the Parent Menu, there is no option to have the parent menu. It only lets me have the ‘add export’, ‘manage exports’ and ‘settings’. There is no option for a parent link at all.

    Am i missing something??

    I’m sorry I don’t know you said “option”.
    Could you please check to sidemenus order settings to original menus location of WP Admin UI Customize?
    I think it problem is maybe child menus is not same the parent menus.
