• Hi! Since the latest update of this plugin you need to set an e-mailadress in the “from” area. But when you receive an e-mail now and you click ‘reply’, it’s mailing back to yourself because of this. Now I need to copy and paste the e-mailadress from the e-mail itself to mail my visitors and costumers back. It’s highly annoying. Is there a solution for this? It seems to me that the “From” area is for this kind of thing!

  • The reason the “from” on the mail tab needs to be from your domain to pass validation is to make the forms less likely to run afoul of ISPs anti-spam software.

On the Mail tab when you edit the contact form, set the “from” address to an email from your domain. You can probably get by with using a “noreply” forwarder set up via your hosting control panel. Then in the “Additonal Headers” section, make sure that the “Reply-to” header uses the tag for the user’s email address. That way, when you click “reply” in your email client, the “to” will be set to the user’s email.
