• I was just about to upgrade to the latest version of the plugin and noticed the following error right below the upgrade notice. This is on Godaddy.

There is a new version of Participants Database available. View version 1.6.2.7 details or update now.

Warning: Wrong parameter count for stristr() in /home/content/06/9955606/html/mysite/wp-content/plugins/participants-database/classes/PDb_Update_Notices.class.php on line 192

OK, thanks for letting me know. Did you have a problem with the update otherwise?

By the way, it’s best not to publish your server paths

Also: what PHP version are you running?

    We are at PHP 5.

And that is not the actual path to our domain. I made some changes before I posted it.

After seeing the error we decided to hold off on the update until it is resolved.

OK, it’s not an error, just a warning, but it suggests you are running PHP 5.2. The plugin requires at least PHP 5.3, so if you do want to upgrade, check your PHP version first.

I will check the PHP version again.

Is version 5.3 required only for this latest upgrade or was this also a requirement for the previous version? because we have not seen any php issues with the plugin we were testing.

    thanks
