How to add an image upload button to front page

Hi, I’m using Prologue theme in WP 2.5, and I want to add an image upload button to the useful post form located in the homepage of the blog.
In the image you can see what I mean.
https://farm3.static.flickr.com/2115/2373403580_c99c43c81d.jpg?v=0The upload image button should open the browse window from the OS and once you find the image, it should attach it to the post you are creating in the form. How can i do this?
