i tried it and it is still giving me: fatal error

Make sure you don’t have “smart quotes” if you copy and paste from the website.

Oh… and if you weren’t using it previously you have to make sure and do this.

Just in case someone got stuck with this.

You need to create the database tables first if it is a new install of popularity contest. Without the database tables you will continue to receive “fatal error” messages.
