new API problems, can't see either wizards

    Sorry you are getting so much grief over this! When I click on the “wizard” links, I just go to google’s console.developers.google.com page. No wizards in sight! I created a new project, created a key (several times) and get this same msg every time:
    Google Static Maps API test – FAILED
    Google Embed Maps API test – OK

    Which seems to be true, when I click on back image link, the map does pop up. Not sure what’s going wrong? Thoughts on that or why I can’t see wizards? My JS is on, using chrome.

    Hi,
    API for static maps is not enabled. Go to console, overview, Google APIs and under Google Maps APIs open Google Static Maps API – enable it. That’s all there is to it ??

    thank you for the super broken down ‘how-to’ on enabling the api for static maps. that is uncharted and very foreign territory for me, needed that ‘map’!
