Error during upload in wordpress plugin

  • Hi,

    For my wordpress website, I need to integrate a video storage platform.
    The objective of this website is that people (after created an account) can upload a video.
    And I want this video is hosted on a platform outside my website.

    Is it possible with Brightcove WordPress Plugin ?
    I linked my account and my plugin.
    When I try directly on brightcove platform, it works perfectly (and the support confirm that). But I didn’t can upload a video directly on wordpress. I always this message “We were unable to upload the file with name XXXX.avi Please try reuploading it again”.

    Have you an idea ?

    Hi,

    I try again with another video. It’s not the same encodage (.mp4) and it’s works perfectly.
    But I have some 3 questions :
    – What is the list of extensions (.mp4, .avi…) possible to upload ?
    – Is it possible to change the limit of 100Mb for each video ?
    – Is it possible to create a frontpage with an upload button ?

    I am not sure on the supported extensions. The file size limit is set through your wordpress host. The video gets uploaded to that server first then sent to Brightcove.
