woocommerce_get_refreshed_fragments slowing down load speed

The endpoint is uncached, but it itself is not ‘slow’.

See if you have geolocation enabled – disable it. That is extra overhead.

I checked on pingdom and got a extra loading time of 9.8 secs in loading this :https://coonyo.com/?wc-ajax=get_refreshed_fragments

I think it’s geolocation. It will try to geolocate pingdom and fallback to an external API call.

Yes.It worked. But it still loads in 4.19s .

Thats the only potential slowdown I know of, the rest is likely server related.

Total delay of 3 secs will be problematic for me.

How do you know ?? As I said before, the only difference with this endpoint is that it’s non-cached. There is very little going on behind the scenes (it just returns cart widget markup).

You didn’t share what addons you’re running though so I don’t know what sets them.

WooCommerce does not even use admin-ajax on the frontend anymore – if all endpoints that are uncached are affected, its likely just a server performance issue.

What is the best practise to reduce this admin-ajax speed?
3 secs delay is too much for a ecommerce website.
