  • Hi athanasiusrc,
could you try running it with a browser console open and see if you get any javascript errors or such? Here are instructions for how to open console in different browsers.

    Thanks athanasiusrc!
I have saved those screenshots and I’m going to look at them in a bit. Can you remove the links to them here please? (No need to share detailed debug info with the whole world. ??

I don’t see a way to delete posts.

Hello athanasiusrc! You can edit them, there is a “Edit”-link right under your name to the left next to the post.

I think that you must have some sort of elevated permissions.

Once the post has been live for a minute the edit option vanishes for me.

Ah, I’m sorry. I think the edit link disappears after a certain time. Maybe you can remove the actual screenshots though (if you want). I looked at the details now and I don’t think you have to worry about it if you can’t delete them.

Anyhow, there is a javascript error there that involves admin-ajax (the second error in the first screenshot). We want to get rid of that.

Just to check, do you have the most recent version of WordPress, WordFence and Jetpack?

And do you have a plugin called “After The Deadline” which may or may not be part of Jetpack (depending on version)? If you have this plugin, try to disable it and then try to run scan again.

Everything is current and I don’t have the After the Deadline plugin.

Alright. Well something is causing that javascript error and we need to get rid of it. Could you try to inactivate all plugins except Wordfence just for a sec and see if that fixes it? If not, you can also try to swap to a default theme and see if that works. This is just for testing purposes to narrow down what’s causing that error.

I deactivated everything and changed the them to the 2015 default. Still no good.

That java script error is caused by a Jetpack module called After The Deadline. The call does not exist in the most recent versions of Jetpack. It appears to be an old function call from a previous version. If everything is up to date and you’ve tried deactivating Jetpack I’m afraid I don’t know what to tell you. Perhaps you could check with Jetpack support and see if they know something that I don’t.
