Moving a site using The Duplicator Plugin

    I am trying to transfer a word press web site from my local computer to the web.

    I have installed the Duplicator plugin to create a package . I used the plugin to create a package.(i have not disabled the plugin’s, do i have to do this?)

    When i deploy using the package to my web server sub folder , the package extracts with no error message , however when i start the web site , wordpress starts to install again.

    When i deploy using the package to another local computer folders , works perfectly.

    What could be wrong?
    Any help given will be highly appriciated

    I have checked the wp-config. That is ok. In fact when installing word press the first step of setting up database is omitted, therefore the connection is ok.
