What is needed to ensure Permalinks working 100% when cloning a site

    I have cloned my site to a different server in order to run it from the new server after pointing the domain to new location

    However I have cloned it and now it is using a different domain
    when switching domains back to original site domain.

    Q:what exactly is needed in order to ensure permalinks working like they used to be exactly on original domain but on a new server this time.
