Add Sidebar Ads to Events Category with Calendar

Hello. I hope this hasn’t been answered here, but I did look pretty hard through this forum before posting. I simply want to add a right sidebar with hyperlinked images (for ads) onto various Event Category pages with calendars on the pages.

The site I’m developing is The Rogue Scene. Most of the menu links go to calendar events pages (“Event Category” pages). On each of those Event Category pages such as the Ashland Live Music page, I want a calendar like there is now with customizable per-page sidebars, with hyperlinked image ads in the sidebars. I was able to turn on right sidebars by updating my theme, but I cannot find any way to customize the sidebars individually on each Event Category page. I got a Custom Sidebars widget… but that only helps me customize sidebars on Category pages, not Event Category pages.

Somebody out there in the world must have ads next to their events calendar page. Any clues how to do this?

I am not a developer, so if answers are techy or a coding solutions, I’ll need that explained to a novice level.
