Widgets appear underneath each other

  • I am having the same problem.

    The widgets display one on the top of the other, not one next to other in columns.

    Hi Mate,

    I figured out the solution to this. When adding widgets to the footer bar, you have to add one widget per section i.e in the Widgets menu, you have to one 1 widget to the “Footer 1” section, one to the “Footer 2” section etc. Hope this helps! It took me a little while to figure it out!

    no this isnt working, i tried adding a widget for each footer, for footer 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and they still appear underneath each other

    Adding widgets to different footer sections didn’t work for me.

    Supposing you already have SiteOrigin Layout Builder widgets, here’s the solution:

    1. Go to any footer section you want (i.e Footer 1, anyone section shall work)

    2. Search for the “Layout Builder” widget and add it to the footer.

    3. Click-open the dropdown menu just appeared and click “Open Builder”

    From that point on it’s just like creating a page with the builder.

    Add a row. Select the preferred layout. Add widgets in layout sections.
