Lost Password and e-mail notification disabled

Hi,

I have locked myself out of one of my wordpress websites and unfortunately when I select the option to have a password reset sent, I am informed that:

The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.

Can anybody siggest a workaround?
