Request: Expiry Time & Garbage Collection format

Hello.

In 2016 it is somehow strange to use Seconds to tune the Expiry Time & Garbage Collection.

Can that be changed to something more easy to compute ? Who needs Seconds ?

Can we have something like Minutes, Days, Years ?
