  • Hi,

    This is exactly the same problem as mine.

    Even if my channel has unique id, this plugin fetch data from another channel which the first three id are same as my channel id.

    Hi greennell and vanlianhup

    What are your channels?

    Hello PoseLab,

    Thank you for your response.
    For Example,

    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery user=”googledevelopers” key=”your_Google_API_key” maxitems=”16″ thumb_columns_tablets=”4″ title=”1″]

    I changed like this;

    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery channel=”UCOmWu6SdqG0wVcc-4Fcm5ug” key=”your_Google_API_key” maxitems=”16″ thumb_columns_tablets=”4″ title=”1″]

    #My Channel ID is UCOmWu6SdqG0wVcc-4Fcm5ug, and youtube link is (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOmWu6SdqG0wVcc-4Fcm5ug).

    But, the plugin loads data from Channel ID – UCBR8-60-B28hp2BmDPdntcQ, youtube link (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBR8-60-B28hp2BmDPdntcQ)

    Thanks….

    I’m having the same problem. Using shortcode with “channel=” but it goes to channel UCBR8-60-B28hp2BmDPdntcQ by default regardless of what Channel ID I enter in the shortcode.

    Even if I put channel=”xxx” in the shortcode, it still shows videos for channel UCBR8-60-B28hp2BmDPdntcQ

    Having the exact same problem when using channelid in the shortcode. Using the user id works great but not all channels have a user name publicly available.

    It works fine if I use the widget but using channel id in shortcode results in the feed becoming that of a channel with “Snoopadog” videos. Might be something in the php as the widget and shortcode seems to use different code but not proficient enough in php to figure that out…

    Exactly the same problem here. Every time I use the user ID I just get an error, and if I use the channel I get Snoopavision.

    Yeah, should be an easy fix. PoseLab? Support? anyone?

    Same problem here… PoseLab, when is this getting fixed?? @PoseLab #PoseLab

    Hello @theappalachians @pamelakd @npc016 @webeminence @vanlianhup @greennell

    Use Below Short Code to show video From any Channel. Thanks to all.

    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery key=”Google API xxxxx” user=”Your Channel ID” identify_by=”channelid”]

    You can Customize with the related shortcode also:

    [Youtube_Channel_Gallery key=”Google API xxxx” user=”Your Channel IDA” identify_by=”channelid” theme=”light” color=”white” maxitems=”16″ thumb_columns_ld=”4″ promotion=”0″ thumb_pagination=”1″]

    @noman

    Thanks for the tip – but I still get the same problem. It shows the Snoopalicious channel even though I have my channel ID in the short code.
    Maybe you have an older version of the plugin where this wasn’t an issue?

    Is this working for anyone else?

    Yes, both of the code blocks that @noman Al Sayed provided worked for my site. Thank you!

    Hi @webeminence
    If you need any help, Please contact through [email protected] . I will take a look.
    I am using the latest version of this plugin and WordPress..

    OK, I was going to ask which version. I’m using 2.4 version of plugin too. I was able to get it to work changing the channel id in “user=…” I may have had the user ID in there from previous testing. Thanks for your help. I assume it’s the “identify_by=”channelid” that did the trick.

    I have my Google API and my channel ID correct. Still having issues. Any suggestions? @norman?

    Here is my url.

    Thanks in advance.

    @ischwartzman

    Can you post the shortcode you’re using? You’re not having the Snoopavision problem we were having. Yours isn’t connecting to a user/channel at all.
