• I’ve got the SiteOrigin Hero Image as the first widget on all my pages. Problem is, they all appear differently, even though their settings are all exactly the same, with two of my pages even having a bigger header than my home page. How do I fix this?

The problems are on the Home Page, Prices Page and Contact Page

  • I’m seeing different heights set per item. Have you asked SiteOrigin about this? Is there a setting you can see that controls height?

There is no css from the theme effecting it. it’s inline right in the output of that widget.

I’m having the exact same problem. Really sucks there’s no way to simply say “make it ‘x’ height” so every slide in the slideshow is automatically the same height.

They already have width controls. But no height controls?

erichhartmann, Are you talking about one of the themes sliders? Or SiteOrigin? Because with our themes all our sliders you can set the height and width.
    can you post a link?

Sorry I should’ve been more specific: SiteOrigin on their forums have declared that this behavior is “works as expected” even though there are several people asking the same question. Which is crazy imho. Who wants their slider bounding up and down just because one has a little more type on it?

    Hi erichhartmann,

That’s not actually the case anymore. You’re able to manually specify a hero widget height now. By opening the widget and then opening the Design and Layout settings group. Then set the height. Here’s an image of the exact field.

Basically, when that setting isn’t set it’ll have a dynamic height rather than a static height.

Hey Alex, I was waiting on your response in the SO forums before posting back here.

So, yes, Alex is right: turns out my version of PB doesn’t have this awesome (obvious) feature ??
