Products per row on mobile device

Currently on my responsive website it displays 1 product per row on my iPhone. Id like it to show at least 2 products per row, maybe even 3. I cant figure out where I can do this as the shortcode doesn’t seem to effect it?
[product_category category=”cloth” per_page=”20″ columns=”3″ orderby=”date” order=”desc”]

Any suggestions?
