WP Total Hacks compatibility

    Hello. I want to know about compatibility of Shield and WP Total Hacks plugins. I just use both of them and want to know if there’s duplicate function in the code, because WP Total Hacks has some security options too. In particular i want to know about “Remove version number from head“, “Block all pingbacks” and “Stop self-pingbacks” functions. Is this safe to use them along with Shield?

    I’d say that there shouldn’t be any problem with that. Honestly, they’re not really security options, but are there since some folks like them. Hiding your version number is really only significant if you don’t keep your site up-to-date and want to hide that fact.
