Hi guys!

I’ve created several new checkout fields for my checkout page.
one field is the first radio button with type klant this lets the user choose between customer type (business or private). when either is selected, some fields are hidden/shown by me with Javascript.

The business name (bedrijfsnaam) field is shown when business is selected, it is not mandatory. If made required and the user selects private the field is not hidden with js, but present html-wise, so when completing, the validation gives an error to enter the business name. How can I change the validation to only check the business name field when business is selected in customer type?

When creating your field make it non-required.

The ‘required’ check needs to be added custom so you can base it on another field. You’ll need to use one of the hooks triggered on validation for this, and add an error message if invalid.

I made it non-required by default.

Any tips on where to look for the right hooks and how to do this?
or tips on how I might find this out myself.

sorry for another question, but Im still stuck on how to progress with this.
I have no idea where to start creating a function that I can hook into do_action( 'woocommerce_before_checkout_process' );

can you create somekind of steplist so I can start working on what I need?
