2.5 Upgrade – Fatal error: Cannot redeclare documentation_link()

    Just upgraded to 2.5 today when to run the upgrade.php file and I am getting the following error message

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare documentation_link() (previously declared in /home/random/public_html/wp-includes/deprecated.php:1272) in /home/random/public_html/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 70

    I am unable to log into the admin panel get the same message.

    Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!

    You failed to remove the previous files and upload all the new files. Basically, you’re running a combo version of whatever files did get uploaded.

    Delete wp-admin and wp-includes and reupload them fresh.
