Slow Load Time with ACF

    The Nerdery used the Advanced Custom Fields, including Flexible Content Field, Gallery Field, and Repeater Field to build a custom theme for Thomas College. They told me the load time was outside of the scope of the project so I have been doing a variety of testing and determined that these plugins are causing the issue. Any advice on how to resolve this would be helpful. I do not want to rebuild the entire site if I don’t have to.

    Without Cache the site takes between 8-10 seconds to load. The admin area is extremely slow and frustrating to navigate because of the speed. Once I removed all of the ACF plugins the site speed increased to 2-3 seconds without cache.
