    Hello,

I have been working on a website using the Bridge theme by Code Canyon. I have done the entire site, and am have tried setting several pages as the home page, but each time I receive a Page Not Found result if I am not logged in.

    Any suggestions?

  • reset permalinks maybe?

I found that in some of the other threads, but I never touched the permalinks to begin with. I believe they’re on the default settings.

I don’t have many plugins installed either, and have used this theme many times without ever having this issue.

But just to check – how do you reset permalinks? Maybe I’m missing something there.

The url is https://www.thibaut40.com in case you need that for reference.

Did you check your Admin dashboard? Here, you roll your mouse over ‘settings’ on the left-hand navigation bar and then click ‘permalink settings’.

Yes, I hadn’t touched anything there so the settings should still be to default.

The url was purchased on Go Daddy, then hosted on a server through the IT department at my office. They installed WordPress, and I was notified that the domain wasn’t working by a co-worker that tried to access.

I hadn’t noticed as I was working because of course I was logged in to the admin. I cross-referenced this site with another we created – same theme, same hosting – and that site is working fine.

Perhaps there’s something deeper than the general WordPress settings that’s causing the error?

try to reset your permalinks to Post Name and resave?
because it does look like you are still using day and name

    settings>permalinks
    option “Post Name”
    resave.

    test

I just tried that and it still doesn’t work.

I tested the site with a different theme, and it works fine. So it appears to be an issue with the Bridge theme I am using rather than settings.

I need to contact their support correct for issues with a specific theme?

    Hi

Yes you can ask Bridge theme support page so they know what is issues.
    Thanks
