• I upgraded LearnPress to v 1.0 and it seems to have wiped our my course. I have given the following message:

“It seem to be you have updated LearnPress from old version and there are some courses or data is out of date and need to upgrade.”

Right now, I have no courses, although I had over 100 previously. Because I had a developer customize the php code so that the Curriculum tab (and data entry field) was full text (just like the Descriptions tab), I am VERY CONCERNED that if I follow those instructions I will lose the course Curriculum (over 100 courses).

How do I prevent this from happening?

    HELP!!!!

Does anyone know where LearnPress stores the course content?

You need to downgrade to version 0.9.19 to show your course content!

    Hi starweavergroup,

Your courses will not be lose. Because version 1.0 we use a different database structure for improve performance and functional and you can upgrade to new database structure without lost your old courses. After upgrade, all courses will become available with same the sections and lessons/quizzes in there.

In case, you dont want using the new version you can downgrade to 0.9.x and you will NOT lost anything.

P/S: All course content is stored in custom post type and its meta data

I had face the same problem and have question below :

    a. how to downgrade if there are no 9.x available for download ? or is there any url address to get it ?

    b. If we still use 1.x version, how to update the database ?

    pls help.

Sorry for not reply soon lately. Can you send me more site info to [email protected] then my team can check it directly. Thank you.

    Best regards,

    Dear Hoang,

You’ve completely hijacked this one from the original poster @starweavergroup and that’s considered rude in these forums. It’s Paul’s topic, not yours.
