Can't translate blog page items

  • Hi,

    On the blog posts page, there are several items like “read more” and “no comments” that I can’t find how to translate.

    The site is in English and German, and right now the blog is only in German, but they will be adding an English blog soon.

    On the German blog, there are still English elements, on the main blog page as well as the posts, please see and

    I have WordPress 4.4.2, Polylang 1.8.5, I am using a static front page, permalink settings are https://novavision.de/sample-post/

    Is there a way to get all my polylang settings to post?

    Have you try with the Loco translate plugin since these strings are provided by your theme?

    Hi Chrystl,

    So if I use Loco, would I have to get rid of PolyLang? Can they be used simultaneously, won’t that cause a conflict?

    You can use Loco Translate and Polylang together since they don’t do the same job.
    Once Loco Translate has done its job you can remove it.
