    Hello Tomas,

my name is Joachim and I use your theme for my homepage. I’m newby ?? and I try several things on my site. Helpful for me is the very good WYSIWYG-Editor “Thrive Content Builder” (I think you know it). After two days I found a conflict between your theme and editor. When I create a site with TCB and I want to make a external link I get the “external link” icon. I save the site go to preview and return, than I have two icons and when I repeate the prozedure I get every times one icon more. f.e. I do it 8 times I have 8 icons behind the text-Link.

Now I use the workaround tip25b disable special icon especially external link icon. But I want to use the icon for my external links. Are there a possiblity to solve the problem??

    Best regards from Germany
    Jo

I would not say it is a theme conflict. To me it looks that TCB wraps the link in another link and in another link… so it’s a conflict with the WordPress content editor. Tiny Framework only decorates external link with the icon, so if there are many external links, it decorates them all.

So I would post a question on TCB support forum.

In the meantime you could click on TEXT icon, so it would show you not the WYSIWYG, but HTML view of your article and then you can remove those extra links.

Unfortunately I’m not a member of that community.

I hope they will fix their plugin as I do not see how my theme could cause these issues, sorry.

Thx. I changed my philosophy and now I don#t use external links…;-)

TCB Developer contacted me and my problem will be solved with a low priority…;-) But my trouble ticket is open and I hope it will be fixed once a day…;-)
