CSS Not Updating

Im not able to get my custom CSS changes to apply.

I am working with Thrive Themes Content Builder and Host on WPengine.

I make CSS adjustments with Firebug then apply them to my Custom CSS fields and they don’t hold true. I have tried multiple CSS plugins as well as the one built into my themes.

I’m attempting to change the color of the text on the menu links.

This is the CSS Script that i have addjusted

color:inherit; (I change inherit to #ffffff but it doesn’t save)
margin:0;
padding:0;
}
