Basic PDF and Portfolio Problems

    I’m having a difficult time with this basic problem. Basically a whole day lost. So, I’ve got two separate lines of inquiry:

    PDF viewers:

    My client wants a Portfolio page with 5 separate projects on it, and the only files she can provide me are 25 page (or so) pdf files. I was able to get one pdf viewer (PDF Light Viewer Plugin) to work, displaying the pdf on the page… it’s not a great option, the size isn’t changeable that I can find and it has an awkward “page-flipping” animation. The other option I’ve made progress with (PDF Embedder) just can’t seem to display images and gives me a variety of failures. Is there an easy free PDF viewer which I can use arrows and create custom widths for?

    Second question:

    I’m using a basic portfolio display plugin (Huge IT Portfolio) and it’s just fine. I like it and it’s easy to use. Can I code it so that the page starts out as thumbnail images and “onclick” the display plugin takes over and begins? (I’m on the way out the door but just realized, is it possible to embed the display plugin into each individual image or is that silly?)
