Sharing Buttons – Add a New Service

    Hi,

    In
    wp-admin/options-general.php?page=sharing#sharing-buttons

    I have added a new service (Buffer) and created a share button ok.

    The link works for sharing to buffer. The issue however is my site is https and when I enable the buffer service on pages – any page which has it is showing as insecure. I believe the reason is the image (share button) is http rather than https.

    can you confirm how this can be resolved?

    Since you created the sharing button yourself, you can decide whether the image and the sharing links use HTTP or HTTPS. Could you try to create a new button, and make sure that both of the links you add when creating the button use HTTPS?

    I changed the image to https and that seemed to resolve the problem. Simple in the end ?? thanks for your help.
