Cannot get BuddyPress working

Hello! I have added the BuddyPress plugin to my site, but I can’t get it to work. I’ve been trying to find an answer all over the web to no avail. When I activate BuddyPress and try to click on any of the features in the drop-down menu on the upper right of the screen, all I get is a complete list of comments on my site. I click activity, profile, notifications, messages, etc., and I just get the site comments. I’ve tried the BuddyPress support forum but haven’t gotten a reply. I’d really like to use the plugin, but apparently there’s some compatibility issue. If anyone has any insight into my problem, please let me know. I’m at my wit’s end! https://scribblers.xyz/
