WordPress Update 4.5 custom table

  • Updated to version 4.5. Had the following issue . Please help…

    We use the content from the wordpress tables to send newsletter.

    Have some php files which are not wordpress. The php calls wordpress libraries to use wordpress features. Also have a custom table along with wordpress tables.

    The php files connects to wordpress tables, uses the content in the wordpress table. And stores the information in the custom table. The newsletter is saved in the custom table.

    This was working fine until wordpress update to 4.5

    But after update, wpdb is returning null value. So could not save the information in the custom table.

    I searched the web but could not find any relative answer.

    Please help
