    Hi all,

I am suffering the same problem that many others are when WordPress updated to Version 4.5 and I saw a thread saying list your error separately so…..

I logged in to the editor and my visual editor is also broken. I select “Pages –> All Pages” and the whole list comes up. I click ‘Edit’ on the page I want to edit and it just says “Loading, please wait”. Had it like that for 10 minutes before giving up.

    Piccy of that here.

On the main site – Well see for yourself:
    https://www.dermalskin.co.nz

I have been through the ‘debug in Firefox’ thing I found on this website, and also tried the website in Google Chrome. It does not work properly in Google chrome, and the text of the debug in Firefox is here:
    Debug text.

Can you please help me fixing this out, as it is my wife’s business website and it generates most of our trade so she is pretty upset about it.

I’ll need step by step assistance please, as I am not too good with wordpress.

Happy to provide any other info needed.

    Cheers,
    David.

  • Hi David,

The issue seems to be with Visual Composer which is a plugin that usually comes bundled premium themes. I can see you may be using Salient theme available on Themeforest.

Most of the time the error happens because of inadequate memory allocation. Check this thread for hint:

For further support, i would advice raising a ticket in the theme support of Salient (via themeforest or the theme provider), or Visual composer.

When you say raise a ticket, do you mean post as an issue in the themes and templates forum?

Silly question I know, but totally don’t know how to raise a ticket and that is all I can think of what you mean.

    Thanks,
    David.

Oh and yes. We are using the salient theme.

You will need to login to the support forum of the Salient theme and request their help, since the issue seems to be of Visual Composer thats bundled with the theme.

You may find the link to their support through themeforest page here:

Thank you. I have raised a ticket with them ?? If you guys have any more ideas, I am willing to give them a go as well. I have re-installed WordPress 4.5 and updated all the sub-programs I have installed too. No joy.
