    Sorry, I didn’t realise that WordPress still supports PHP version 5.2, which is where you are seeing this error.

    Have just pushed a new version 1.4.2 which fixes it.

    Dear Samir,
    thank you for the quick reply! The hint on the old PHP version was spot on. I didn’t realize my client was “out of date”. Fixed.
