Child theme not working after update to Hueman 3.1.0

Hi Stefan. Welcome to the Hueman forum. Although the functionality of the new version of the theme is essentially the same (with the exception of the theme options being moved to the Customizer) there have been other coding and file location changes. You might check these references:

I’m using customized widgets (alx-posts, tabs), featured, related posts, content, footer, functions, archive and header

Depending on how extensive your modifications are you’ll have some amount of work to do to adapt them to the new version. Your safest approach would be to make a note of your modifications, then copy the new versions of the functions and files you’ve modified to your child theme (noting the new directory structure), and reapply your changes.

thanks for the reply and your help. I figured it out…all functions were renamed from alx_* to hu_* and ot_* to hu_* in 3.1.0. That was the reason why the child theme changes didn’t work anymore. So reapplying all changes in the new format should work… allthough it’s gonna take a while. ??
