• Hello,

    I’m using wp 4.5.
    Wordfence firewall in learning mode.
    In whitelisted urls I have:

    url param
    /cgi-bin/php request.body[“);_?>set_time_limit(0); $ip_]
    /cgi-bin/php5 request.body[“);_?>set_time_limit(0); $ip_]
    /cgi-bin/php-cgi request.body[“);_?>set_time_limit(0); $ip_]

    From an ip in Vietnam…

    What are these?

I’m trying to delete these. Wordfence says configuration has been saved, but they’re not deleted.

    Please help.

Removing the checkmark under Enabled works, but deleting no.

    Has someone experienced anything similar?
I’ve seen the other post about a bug in deleting whitelisted urls but it’s mentioned there that it’s due to some characters.
In this case there are no strange characters yet I cannot delete or edit the entries.

    Hi,

It’s possible that there is a non-printable character included that may be causing the same issue as the other post you mentioned — are you able to edit the whitelist entries, and change the URL to just a “/”?

If you can change the URL (and/or the parameter), then save them, can you delete them after that?

    Hi,

I did experienced the same situation.
So I had tried to apply WFMattR solution, and it does work ??
    Thank you Matt!

    a+
