• Hi. I’m looking for the best way to share certain pieces of content (e.g., employee bios, office information, blog posts) selectively among multiple websites. The sites in question are currently separate WP installs and will all be redesigned to use the same theme.

    Our organization/sites can be structured in a way that there is a “parent” company site with several sub-companies, so I have been considering hosting all of that shared content on the parent site and pointing links from the sub-companies back to it (e.g., a “Meet Our Team” link from the sub-company would point back to a page on the parent site with a filtered listing of employees for that particular sub-company), but I don’t know if I’m sold on that approach.

    I’ll be happy to clarify if necessary, and any suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

    Have you considered using your RSS feeds?

    With all the share stuff posting content to social sites, there ought to be a work-a-round you can use to have stuff post to your own outside sites.

    Look into Content Exchange also, if sites can post content back and forth, you can do the same with your sites. Set up a content exchange in your company’s web presence. I was looking thru plugins that might do it but have not found one, sure there is one tho using other search terms. I know it’s not your solution but the suggestion is valid. ??

    @andrew Nevins,

    No, I haven’t given RSS any thought yet, but I will. ??

    It really seems like there should be an easy way to do it. ??
