add dedo_download posts programatically

Hi,
I would like to know how to create dedo_download posts programatically: i.e without using the wp-admin dashboard.
In fact, I would like to monitor the download of some files that I join to a custom post type.
So, I wonder how to create and link the corresponding dedo_download posts automatically, so that I avoid copy pasting the DD shortcode in my created custom posts types which can lead to erroneous results if this operation is made manually for each new post.
