Photo sort order # not working

  • Hi there,
    I have a an album cover that links to the lightbox modal, which displays all the photos from a certain album.

    The photos were displaying in the correct Photo sort order # until about a month ago.
    Now it seems to only display them in order of been uploaded.
    Or
    If I set to “Order# DESC” this works for some reason..?

    I have been to Photo Albums -> Settings admin page in Table IV-C1
    and set to “Photo sort order #”
    I made the album sort by “default”
    this didnt work.
    So in the album section “Photo sort order #” I numbered all the photos 1 to 30 and set the album to sort by “Photo sort order #”
    this didnt work.
    So I went to album > seq
    arranged all photos in order
    this didnt work.
    I renamed all the photos to be numbers and set the album sort order to “Name”
    this didnt work.
    I entered EFIX date and set to both to EFIX or EFIX DESC
    this didnt work.

    Possibly I have missed a setting, but I can’t seem to find any others…
    I am lost, can you please let me know what could be causing this or even better let me know how to fix it?

    If you have a caching program active, flush it.

    Is the sort order on the album admin page correct now?
    This should be equal to the front-end sort order.

    Hi again,
    No I don’t have a caching program.
    No the sort order is not correct. It is loading all the images under the “Medical” lightbox in the order they were uploaded (oldest to newest).
    Currently the last 4 photos have a sort order # 1-4 and they are still appearing last

    Unfortunately i can not get connection to your site.

    If you now go to the Seq page, are they in the right order? If not, do they all have a sequence number, and, if so, are they correct? If the photos have no number except the last 4 having 1..4, the others may have 0. Please look at this.

    If you move one, all numbers should be get updated.

    I could reach the site, and saw you use the album widget, so i recreated the same situation on my testsite. This worked as expected.
