install fails after first login in: 403 error states that website requires login

  • The install goes through and an admin password is created for me. I hit the login button and type everything in, correctly. When I hit login, the process fails at /wp-admin/ I’m not sure what page I should see (i think i should see the main admin dashboard), but instead i get a 403 error that states that i need to login, but i did. The db tables are all created and the admin user appears. Can someone help?

    did a bit more searching and found an old post that helped … something about the index.php not being the default …
