Thank you so much, TaskCrate for the advice.
    The followings are what we suggest to users with the same issue;
    1. While on restoring database, leave it running for 15 minutes.
    2. After 15 minutes, open another tab and try to login to wp-admin with WP Admin username/password of the exported site
    3. Go to settings -> permalinks and save the permalink structure
At this point the website should be successfully migrated.

    Hi ufthewise,

I am sorry for the inconvenience.
What is the site URL that you are importing on?
Do you have enough disk space on the server?

    Hi.
I have now several times tried to import a web-page, but I am always stuck. There is no error log. But when I try to open the web-page (while the database is still in “database restoring” mode), where I try to import the web-page into, it shows me the following message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_currentuserinfo() in /www/htdocs/w0146fdd/markus-ruth.ch/wp-content/plugins/wp-booking-calendar/wp-booking-calendar.php on line 380

    What could be wrong here?

    Thanks

    Hi mh1,

Could you re-export your site while having WP Booking Calendar plugin deactivated and re-import again?

    Hi Pim

It was much easier – how embarrasing…
I exportet using WP 4.3.3 and imported with WP 4.5
Using the same WP on both sides solved the problem immediately.

    Thanks for your support anyway.

    You are very welcome, mh1.

Hello support and Pim, WordPress migration issue and questions. Was using WP All in One Migration plugin, and it keeps hanging/getting stuck at “restoring database” migrating onto a Bluehost server.
Both versions of WP are the same 4.5.1
There are huge backup files in the same folder which I excluded from the export.
Do I need to create a new database on the new server, Bluehost that matches the old database name and username, or does All in One WP migration do that automatically?
Any advice on how to proceed?

Hello, I have been attempting to download a demo from the Avada theme and am currently stuck on the “Restoring Database” page. The page has been spinning for several hours and I attempted to follow the steps laid out by Pim Jitsawang. I opened another tab and went to “settings -> permalinks and save the permalink structure” as instructed. I’m not sure what to do after this and need to get past this step in order to create my website! If I click the refresh button as suggested by TaskCrate, it will stop my import. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

    Hi Spicoli,
The plugin will do this automatically.

    Hi tcbuckwheat1,
Did the plugin ask you to login to the dashboard when you opened a new tab?
