Jet pack not showing products when mobile option activated and configured

  • Hi I tried activating Jetpack mobile section and followed the instructions on another thread to configure to show all the content.

    It is showing the blog posts and everything fine but it is not showing the static home page like you would see on a desktop. It will only display the adsense adds coded in the side bar and footer as the home page and if you click the shop tab it does the same just looks like spammy adds. I don’t want my site to appear spammy with adds when it is supposed to be showing a string of products.

    I am currently using the Viper theme. the URL is https://www.nixley.com I have since deactivated the mobile portion of jetpack until we can get this resolved because it is not showing correctly to mobile users. Is there a way to fix this to show the home page as it shows on the desk top and to have the drop down menus appear with products under the shop tab?

    One other thing – the Jet pack carousel when you click on the gallery https://www.nixley.com/jaw-photo-gallary/jeep-nation-jeep-photos/ and click on the individual photos to go through them it shrinks them sooooo small on mobile devices – works fine on desktop. Not sure what to do with that either.

    Could you try to switch to one of the default themes, like Twenty Fifteen, for a few minutes, and let me know if your home page content still gets displayed?

    If the content disappears when you switch themes, it means that it’s entirely controlled by your theme; as a result, it will always disappear when switching to a different theme, like Twenty Fifteen or Jetpack’s Mobile Theme.

    The only work-around would then be to move the functions generating that content away from your theme, and into a plugin, so they can be used regardless of the theme you’re using.

    There is definitely something wrong here. Could you try to switch to one of the default themes again, and let me know if the problem remains?
