  • Hard to say with the little information you’ve provided…

What HTTP error are you getting? What’s the actual error message?

What version of WordPress are you running?

How big is the file you’re attempting to upload? What type of file?

Have you tried disabling all plugins?

Have you tried activating the Twenty Sixteen theme?

    Have you turned on debugging?

    It just says HTTP Error.
4.5.1 is the version. Not sure of the exact size. It is a photo from I photo. I have not disabled plug ins. I just updated them to try to fix the issue. It has been working fine for 2 years and started acting up last week.

The file is 1 MB that won’t upload. .JPG will not upload. .PNG will upload.

I just posted about this as well about 15 min ago. I get an HTTP error when trying to upload any file size on any of the sites I manage that are running 4.5.1. Deactivating all plugins and activating the default 2016 theme doesn’t work. Problem still persists. Sites that have NOT updated to 4.5.1 (on the same server) work fine and upload the same images I have tried on 4.5.1. The media uploader screen literally gives an error when trying to upload that says “Http error” with a red line next to it. That’s it.
