Using latest BP+WP and creating 2 extra group pages which contains a short code to fetch tweets and the other is using a rss plugin to fetch rss feeds.

on the bp front end when i go to the 2 pages it shows no content. its blank in short. but when i go to the wp backend and view the 2 pages it shows me the content.

do i need to add some css code for bpge visibility on front end? display initial kind of thing?

or is this issue related to https://github.com/slaFFik/BP-Groups-Extras/issues/56 @garrett-eclipse commented on Mar 7, 2015

An update, I did notice if you go to view the gpage from wp-admin and you go to it outside a group that the autoembed is working.

    Example Path – ?gpages=2015-connecttherapy-series-course-prep/thoracic-ring-taping

Whereas if you go to the gpage through the group this is where the autoembed is broken.

    Example Path – /groups/2015-connecttherapy-series-course-prep/gpages/thoracic-ring-taping/

is this becuase of oEmbed https://buddypress.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/6778 ?

    Kindly let me know

    Thanks for your time.

  • I am also having the same issue. I can create pages, fields in group admin, but viewing the published page does not show any content. I can see the navigation for each page created, but content does not show.

    Many Thanks

Does it show in backend of wp? Also check if you got any plugin taking over the styling of all custom pages..by any chance you got events manager plugin activated?

Yes, this related to that issue.
I should also investigate shortcodes processing. See related issues:
    https://github.com/slaFFik/BP-Groups-Extras/issues?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+shortcode

so far this is a bug in a plugin. Will try to fix it some time.

Short codes are working for me…feed short codes and Twitter short codes..in my case event manager plugin was taking over all custom posts CSS/styling

    Hi,
Im trying to put separate groups on separate pages without success.
Is it possible at all ?

Problem is that the permalink doesnt allow /groups/pagename , and as groups always is added in front of the pagename – I cant get this to work.

Is there an easy way to do this ?
