    This is a theme issue.

    Squirrly SEO Plugin doesn’t add <h1> tags on your pages.

    Okay. Thank You. Other than using another theme, is there a way to fix this?

    Try to contact the theme developers to resolve this issue without changing the theme.

    Yes, if you will use a theme without issues, Squirrly SEO Plugin will work fine.
