• Hi WordPress world,

I have recently updated my site to 4.5.1 but it is still saying:
“WordPress 4.5.1 is available! Please update now”

I have checked the files and they all show updated but I am still receiving this message in my admin panel. Any solutions?

  • Maybe you can resolved this problem when you upload the core files by yourself. Back-up first at all your website and database befor you changed something.

Download the last verion of WordPress
    Extract it on your website
Upload all the files without wp-config.php, wp-config-sample.php, licence.txt and readme.html

If you have change something in this core files like functions.php, you have to do the same thing in this newest files. I hope this will help you resolved the message!

I have verified all files are updated via FTP and it is still showing me that message.

I am also having same issue. I tried Automatic update from 4.4.2 to 4.5.1… It said update was successful but still saying it’s on 4.4.2 and showing upgrade message. I tried manual update too. But result is same. Can anybody help in this?

Some how I was able to fix mine when I switched the domain name to another account and changed the DNS settings. Weird.
