Email not accepted in Options (It *IS* Valid)

I tried to enter my email address for “Where to send alerts”. I get this message:
The following emails are invalid: *****@****.international
It is, indeed, a valid email. It is a new gTLD that I think is not recognized. I run into this a lot, so I have a backup email to use in these cases, but the new gTLDs are here to stay, and should be recognized.
