Hi All,

I have searched and tried every possible solution available to me via;

https://codex.www.ads-software.com/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_do_I_solve_the_Headers_already_sent_warning_problem.3F
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/upgraded-to-wp-45-and-now-my-site-is-broken?replies=17

And numerous others without joy, so i have no choice but to post a new help thread, where hopefully someone can help me please.

Attempting to login to wp-login.php i receive the following;

I have opened the pluggable.php file and there is nothing before <?php or after } endif; – i have deleted anything after and saved. – no change.

I have downloaded wordpress and replaced wp-settings.php – no change.

I have checked for blank spaces etc in nearly all php files with no change.

I have disabled plugins folder – no change

I have disabled the working theme – no change.

I am completely stuck on what to do?

Thank you

Lee

Look if you have a mu-plugins folder in wp-content. If you do, rename the folder mu-plugins-old

Can we have a link to the site?

Hi Keesiemeijer, the link to the site is https://www.one-uk.net

I am currently updating/replacing the plugins from yesterday’s backup (cant do a restore unless I am logged in.

Something is creating (error) output where it shouldn’t. I would try these steps again. In this order, try:

• Deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin (read “How to deactivate all plugins when you can’t log in to wp-admin” if you need help). Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems. Also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder. The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old
• Switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule out any theme-specific problems. If you can’t log in to change themes, you can remove the theme folders via FTP so the only one is twentysixteen. That will force your site to use it.
• Manually upgrading. When all else fails, download a fresh copy of the latest.zip file of 4.5 (top right on this page) to your computer, and use that to copy up. You may need to delete the wp-admin and wp-includes folders on your server (NOTE: do not delete the wp-content directory or your wp-config.php file) Read the Manual Update directions first.

@keesiemeijer thank you for the suggestions. I gained access back to the site finally by following your advice on step 3 and uploading manually.

I am currently going through a restore.

~Thank you for your assistance sincerely appreciated.

You’re welcome ??

(I ask for an apology my enligh skilss are not the best ones)

Hello I would like to ask for your help, I am at a dead end…

I have the exact problem but the first issue is that I blocked my account… what I mean is that I first try to log in to wp-login.php like BB3lions said, but then it give an error that said “Login page ERROR: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output” and It also said incorrect password… so y I try to reset my password with the option “Lost your password?” and then I recyve the email and and I click the link and it sent me to “https://missfitshs.com/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=bDvBMlpkxDm3X9SechAo&login=missfitsadmin” and the next error appears;

Warning: ksort() expects parameter 1 to be array, object given in /homepages/15/d578753550/htdocs/clickandbuilds/MissfitsHealthStudio1515/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/core/template-functions.php on line 316

But it didn’t give me the password and now I don’t know my password because the error blocked the hole page.

I think I first need to get back the password before doing something else… I am complete lost and tie by hands.

I have to add that I am a complete newb at WordPress.

I also try to do this instructions:

Upgrading WordPress Core Manually;

1.First create a full backup of your website. This is very important in case you make a mistake.
2.Download the newest WordPress ZIP file from www.ads-software.com.
3.Unzip the file into a directory on your local machine or in a separate directory on your website.
4-Deactivate all of the plugins on your WordPress site.
5.Go to your website root directory and delete your ‘wp-includes’ and ‘wp-admin’ directories. You can do this via sFTP or via SSH

The problem was number 4 & 5, first in number 4 i cant log in to my wp-admin so i cant turn off the plugins and in number 5 ill try to register my site in FileZilla i put in host: https://ftp.missfitshs.com and Logon type: normal, and i try the old password and it dindt work it give me this:

Status: Connecting to 74.208.215.101:21…
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message…
Status: Insecure server, it does not support FTP over TLS.
Command: USER [email protected]
Response: 331 Password required for [email protected]
Command: PASS *********
Response: 530 Login incorrect.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server

I lost all the hope i have been trying this out for around 10 hours i dont find a solution…

I have the exact problem as BB3lions said.
How do I resolve it. I can access my CPanel but I really don’t want to break a customers website while trying to fix this problem .

I was tasked with the task of using the new approved Google fonts for our company. I tried going through the route of using a Build Press Child theme and it didn’t work. I added the below codes to function.php as recommended information states:

function child_scripts()
{
wp_enqueue_style(‘child-google-fonts’,’//fonts.googleapis.com/css? family=El+Messiri:700|Trirong:400i,500i,700″ rel=”stylesheet’);
}

add_action (‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, ‘child_scripts’);

This code was added just immediately after the enqueuing stylesheet code for the parent code. Immediately I updated it didn’t work and my website wasn’t displaying anymore. I went to the Cpanel root directory to remove the code.

I tried the second method of using a plugin called Easy Google font. Immediately I installed it, I received an error

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/heightsaccess/public_html/wp-content/themes/buildpress-child/functions.php:21) in /home/heightsaccess/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1224

Now I no longer have access the WORDPRESS dashboard so can even unintall the plugging.
Kindly reply me .

Thank you .

Hi @keesiemeijer, Can you please assist me with my request. I am really stuck here since morning.

Hi Michael Liberty

You can de-activate a plugin by removing or renaming the plugin folder with the Cpanel file manager or by by using a FTP client.

The error seems to come from your child theme’s functions.php file.
Can you share the contents of that file here.
