Inserting Multiple Images to a Post

Is there any easier way to insert multiple images into a post ?
Does it have to be click on gallery first, click show, choose size and click on the ‘Insert to Post’ button ?

Something like Flexible Upload Plug-in (it won’t work with 2.5).
