Import then goes to Edit page

    I have a huge table (5500 rows) I am using during testing – it will eventually be broken into many smaller tables. However it is causing me a problem now. I am never editing the table, I am re-importing it each time (replace existing table).

    What is happening is that the import works perfectly and the message appears saying the table has been imported. But then TablePress displays the table for editing. After a long wait Firefox locks up, it can’t handle it, (or perhaps the server stops delivering it and it times out).

    Please could TablePress simply do the Import and then return to the All tables page? If the person then wants to edit the table it is easy for them to ask to do this. Thanks.

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    I see what you mean, but unfortunately, this is not an easy change at the moment :-/
    Your best chance probably is to try to immediately close the tab after the success message.

    Hi,

    good to hear that this helps ??
    My idea for the future is to make the “Edit” screen much faster and more robust, so that this would not even be an issue. But some way to choose between going to the “Edit” screen or the “All Tables” screen could also be an idea…
